Composition

Each ml contains:

Calcium Gluconate .................... 200mg

Vitamin B12 .............................. 2.5mcg

Indication

Calcium supplements. Used for calcium deficiencies and allergies, to help treat lactational fever and other calcium deficiencies.

Administration and Dosage

By slow intravenous injection.

Make sure that the content of the bottle has the same temperature as the body temperature of the animal to be treated.

Dog: 2.5 - 10ml

Massage the subcutaneous site gently after administration.

Adverse Reaction

Animals with heart or kidney disease may develop hypercalcemia

Contraindications

Do not use in cases of hypercalcaemia.

Do not use following administration of high doses of vitamin D3.

Do not use in cases of chronic kidney insufficiency or in cases of circulatory or cardiac disorders.

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active substances.

Precautions

The solution should be warmed to body temperature before administration.

Intravenous injections should be given slowly and stopped on the first signs of adverse reaction. Rapid intravenous injection may result in cardiac arrhythmias.

Provided these precautions are observed, it should be safe for use during pregnancy and lactation.

Care should be taken to avoid accidental self-injection: may cause irritation at site of injection.
