Recently, Chongqing Bull Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bullvet") successfully passed the on-site inspection for Saudi Arabia’s Veterinary Good Manufacturing Practice (Veterinary GMP) at its Fuye Road facility. The company was awarded a GMP compliance certificate by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). This achievement signifies that Bullvet’s veterinary drug quality management system, production environment, and operational capabilities fully comply with Saudi regulatory requirements. It lays a solid compliance foundation for the company’s products to enter the Saudi market and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, marking a critical step in Bullvet’s internationalization strategy.

The Saudi Veterinary GMP certification is widely recognized for its stringent standards and rigorous procedures. It imposes high requirements on pharmaceutical manufacturers in areas such as quality management systems, facility design, equipment validation, material management, production control, quality testing, documentation systems, staff training, and risk management.
The five-day certification process involved a comprehensive on-site audit conducted by a team of SFDA-appointed GMP inspectors. The audit covered the entire supply chain, all key elements, and full-process operations at Bullvet’s new facility. During the inspection, Bullvet’s teams demonstrated close collaboration: production staff adhered to meticulous operating standards, the quality department enforced strict controls throughout the process, R&D teams showcased technological innovation, and management ensured efficient coordination. Every aspect reflected Bullvet’s commitment to excellence in quality. Ultimately, the inspection team unanimously concluded that Bullvet’s veterinary drug production quality management system is sound, effectively implemented, and fully compliant with Saudi GMP regulations.
